FEATSAZ Board of Directors Ballot

    The FEATsAZ Board of Directors has eight (8) vacancies going into the 2017-2018 year.

    Lynanne Dellerman-Silverthorn, CPRP, CFEE

    Lynanne implements community programs and events as the recreational and cultural services manager for the Town of Oro Valley, where she has worked since 1999. Lynanne is a Certified Parks & Recreation Professional and a Certified Festivals & Events Executive. She is a member of both IFEA and FEATSAZ, and serves as the liaison for both the Oro Valley Historic Preservation Commission and the Oro Valley Historical Society. She also volunteers for the National Park System as an archaeological site steward.

    Melissa Hinkle, CFEE

    Melissa is the special event and volunteer coordinator for the Town of Sahuarita. She has worked for the Town of Sahuarita since 2005. In Sahuarita, Melissa produces 12 core events a year, as well as eight youth events with the Sahuarita Teen Advisory Council. She also coordinates the event permitting process for over 50 outside events a year. Melissa has been an active member of FEATSAZ as well as IFEA since 2012. She has served on the FEATSAZ board for the past year, and she has earned her Certified Festivals & Events Executive credential from IFEA.

    Jonas Hunter

    Jonas started his 25-year radio career at Penn State’s station WPSU; in Tucson, he worked as program director at 96.1 KLPX and as an announcer at MLB spring training, MiLB games, and other sports events. In 2008, he joined the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council (now Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance) as special events director, creating car shows, arts festivals, concert series, culinary events, public art commissions, and more. He recently launched Jonas Hunter Productions sound and light business.

    Richard Noel

    Richard is a Remo-endorsed drum facilitator who uses the transformative effect of global rhythm as a motivational tool at empowerment seminars, therapy programs and live performances. As CEO and facilitator of his company Jam 2 Grow, he draws on a lifetime of drumming experience, beginning with his birthplace in the Caribbean, to positively influence people by using music as an empowering and fun-filled outlet for expression and healing. He is an active member of SunRisers Toastmasters.

    Julie Pulliam

    Julie serves on the Visit Tucson marketing team as a project coordinator, facilitating local, national, and international media placements. Her background includes over 15 years’ experience as a coordinator of events and volunteer functions, including culinary and arts exhibitions, galas, film festivals, and fashion shows. She especially enjoys creating educational and volunteer-centered events. When not in the office, she is outside, immersed in our beautiful Sonoran Desert with a camera in hand.

    Dawn Vandaveer

    Dawn is the owner of Prototypes, a promotional marketing company specializing in direct mail, print, and promotional products. She formerly worked as an account representative in tourism publishing and as a publisher of specialty tourism guides distributed in northern Mexico. Her events experience includes book-signing events, shopping experiences like the Junior League of Tucson’s Gift Market, community walks, and fun runs. She is 2017 chair of the Dogtini Lounge at Handi-Dog’s Dogtoberfest.
